Default Checking In

I got started at the kickoff of TC9 but have been delinquent about signing in and making an announcement of such. My last full TC was 4, which I had some good results with, but along the way I've feallen back into some bad habits and weight crept back on.

Iím looking forward to reenergizing myself with TC9, this time around Iím aware of the key role diet plays for me, and Iím working hard to eat a healthier selection of foods. Iím planning to see how well I can do in the first 6 weeks, and hopefully use that momentum to carry me on to a successful 12 week run.

Default Checking Out

11/28/2010

Final Weight: 202.2 lbs (-1.3 lbs)
Final Waist: 35.5" (-2.25")

Well, a paltry 1.3 lbs is disappointing, but I am encouraged by the drop in the waist measurement. At one stage I was down 7 lbs from the starting weight but that didn't hold.

All-in-all I am still happy to have participated in the contest. I was able to have something to keep me thinking about what I was eating, and I was able to incorporate some new, healthier foods, into my diet. With each effort I gain some additional insight and sense of being in control of my destiny. Once again having a couple of different ways to measure progress paid off, since I would have been really bummed if all I had done was taken a body weight reading.

Waist circumference is such an important measurement when it comes to overall health, and very few things improve your looks more! Congratulations!
