You finished the contest, and despite not achieving the 6-pack you've still made progress despite your set-backs. I'll be looking for you in TT#10!

Default The Success Paradox

Hi Andrew, I've thought about your results on this challenge quite a bit because it does take a lot of creativity to get to your very best. I remember writing after my first challenge that succeeding at getting below a BMI of 30 was like hitting the side of a barn with a shotgun. (Not that I have personal experience with this) It's really hard to miss! Like me, your avocation involves strenuous physical activity. I know that sword fighting is different from dance, but they are similar in they way that they combine strong physical effort and mental focus- except when things go really well, and you get in the flow, and the music takes over, but I digress.

What does it take when you're fit and you have plenty of muscle, but the abs don't want to show up? At this point, I think you have to consider whether you're getting enough rest and recovery. I do believe that managing stress is often the essential ingredient that can be missed in getting all the way to ripped. That's why I meditate nearly every day.

Finally, your support has meant a great deal to me over the course of this challenge. Thank You.
Fitness is Freedom.
