Wednesday 9.7 3/84 Week 1 TT Kettlebell Carnage, Peter Jankowski, MCTT
OS warm up (http://originalstrength.net/)
Workout B: It’s not that complex
Complex 1 – Single Kettlebell-12kg
KB Snatch-5
Clean and Press-5
Offset Loaded Reverse Lunge (leave bell in the rack position after last C&P then do 5 reverse lunges stepping back with the leg that is on the same side as the racked KB)
Split Stance Row-5
Complete up to 5 rounds per side
5/ea
Complex 2 – The Eagle-12kg
1 rep =
1 Single KB Clean (strong side)
5 Front Squats with KB in the rack position
1 strict press (leave bell pressed overhead and then)
20 yard overhead farmers carry
Bring the KB back into the rack position. Once you get the KB back into the rack position re-clean it (without putting it down) to the other arm and repeat. Aim for 8 reps (4 per side)
2/ea
Will have to work up to 20 yard overhead carry. That will take a while.

Working hard-never a problem, eating less-always a problem. I have eaten myself into a flabby body. Cloths don't fit.
Strategies-Don't eat in front of TV. Stop eating 2-3 hours before bed. I practice IF, but will expand my eating "window". I sometimes feel that I am cramming all my food into a short time frame, causing me to eat fast and never giving myself time to feel full. Making sure it is hunger and not boredom. Keep junk out of the house. Things I know, but have to put into practice.
Weight-141
Chest-35
Shoulders-15
Waist-35.5
Hips-38
Thigh-21
Resizing photos, hoping to upload soon.

Hey Concetta! We're doing the same workout right now. It looks easier on paper than it actually is! I'm having to modify it a little because my ankle is mysteriously injured.

Let's do this!

I think every program looks easier on paper. So easy to read, picture the exercises, weights you will use, etc. Then you start and realize what a bear it really is. But, that's what the program is supposed to do. We can do this, I'm sure! Meet you at the end! Concetta

Friday 9.9 5/84 Week 1 TT Kettlebell Carnage, Peter Jankowski, MCTT
OS warm up (http://originalstrength.net/)
Workout C: Simple and Sinister
1-arm KB(16kg) swings-5x-10/ea
A good goal to work toward would be a 1:1 ratio swings to rest which will take you approximately 5 minutes. Working on it.
TGU-5x-1/ea-12kg
Same as the swings, start on you “strong side” and then alternate for 10 singles. Like the swings your goals is a 1:1 work to rest ratio. I can just about do the work to rest ratio with 12kg. For kicks, I grabbed a 30#DB to test myself. Extremely difficult. Will have to ask Peter what to do next.

Concetta so you can do a get-up with a 16kg? What part is extremely difficult? Is there a sticking point that you need to work on that will get you up to the next bell?

TGU/12kg Peter. 30#DB is awkward compared to KB. Most of the beginning is difficult. Able to stand up, slowly. All around shaky.
