Default 12 more weeks of Turbulence!!!

I like my thread title for this contest, as life over the last few months has certainly been turbulent. 12 weeks of TT will be a relative breeze.

As people may know, I'm not eligible for prizes in these contests. So, I'm here to get my body and mind back into shape over the next 12 weeks, as well as support the community.

I only decided in the last half hour to post a thread and participate over the next 12 weeks.
I've been eating (and drinking) too much, too poorly and so I'm carrying more fat than I have done in the past.

I'll post my opening stats tomorrow am (and I'm not looking forward to the reality check!!!).

As for workouts, I'm pushed for time to do it next week as I'm at home for the school half term holidays, and I need something I can do here without going to the gym. I've always loved TT depletion (June 2009) as a quick effective home workout, so that is my plan of attack for the first 3 to 4 weeks. This will give me the opportunity to do other things I enjoy such as a couple of classes at the gym as well.

Here goes then. Time to plan my meals for the next 10-14 days!!! Good luck to all.

Default Reality Check.... Measurements

Here goes

Height 5'9"
Weight 164lb (11st 10lb)

Shoulders 48"
Chest 41"
Waist 32.25"

I've set a goal for the contest to lose 14lb of fat and add (or regain) 5lb of muscle, which I'll focus on more once I've got the first round of workouts done.

Plan for today:

Do TT depletion 2009 workout A + abs circuit (and possibly some interval training)
Drink plenty of water
Avoid junk food, bread, and excess alcohol!!!

I'm not planning on weighing in again for at least another 10 days. Time to plan the meals bearing in mind its my 40th Birthday on June 4th and I want a small cheat to celebrate.

lets do this and maintain my momentum.

Wow, your reality check is my goal : ) I'm 5'8 so you have an inch on me (or 2.54 centimeters for you Brits). Shouldn't you be weighing yourself in "stones" : )

Wish you all the best.

Yes, I saw your name at the bottom of the screen for birthdays, also - hope it's been a great one! And welcome back; you've seen such great progress in the past, you can do it again!
