Default "Don't stop me now..."

Google doodle tribute to artist, performer, and pioneer Freddie Mercury for his 65th birthday: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KX2BQM0D01M
Queen was/is one of my favorite groups. Listening to this song, I came to the realization that I am the only one stopping my fitness and nutrition goals. I buy the food, I put it in my mouth. I promise I will have will power, but never do. I joined TT12 to achieve these goals:
One pull up
125lbs
Below 18% body fat
50 push ups everyday.
Contest- 9.10.11 to 12.2.11
I didn't take many measurements because my cloths are the best arbiter of my size. I have calipers and used one site above my waist and measured (21%wrong) 22.1% body fat. I also measured my waist/hip ratio (27.5/37) which is below 0.8, supposedly OK, but not OK for me. My pants are snug and I would like to unsnug them. 132lbs
I started with TT Super 6's. Short and sweet. Will make it a 4 or 5 day program.
I applaud all who have joined TT12, together we can make this a lighter, healthier planet. Pictures soon.

Cos am having a good time, having a good time and I don't want to stop at all!!

Yay great title Concetta, I love Queen, we actually had thier music on last night and the kids were sining along too.

so happy to see another friendly face back for number 12.

Have to be honest I don't quite get how the bf% works, everyone seems to do it differently so I would not get too hung up on it. I have mine measured by a professional at work, but she takes about 8 skin fold measurements from different parts of the body then using some special forumal to work it out! But like I say there seems to be quite a few methods and different forumlas out there.

Am sure you are going to rock and those pants will be swinging off you soon

Keep smiling Cheers for now Katie

Hi and welcome back!

My 12 year old daughter loves Queen too (needless to say I'm a big fan)

50 push ups every day is impressive!!

Looking forward to your success!

Glad to see you hear, Concetta. We can all do this together. I hear you on the snug clothes. It would be nice to get past that once and for all, wouldn't it?

Thank you for the Freddy Mercury tribute, that was awesome.
I see the ol' %18 body fat on your goal list, yep, on a woman that BFP does look amazing. So good that it makes all of the effort worth it. I believe it's all about managing the moments when short term desires bump up against long term intentions. We need to have good boundaries in place before we feel that itch to drop a workout or eat out of bounds. Lets go all the way to goal this time.
