Fear of the unknown is driving me nuts! Being able to plan my life with a schedule has allowed me to keep my nutrition and workouts in check. My wife is now two days overdue and last night I was up until 4:30 in the morning. My alarm went off at six and I rolled out of bed at seven. It's amazing how a run on the treadmill can actually energize you. I really thought about an extra hour of sleep, but I feel like this morning's exercise is the only thing keeping me in an upright position. I'm running on fumes!

I should mention that I'm a teacher also at an elementary school. This makes it even worse for me as I teach what many would consider "fun" subjects (Music and Phys Ed). That means I always have to be "on". Life force.... Draining. Will try to get another workout in tonight.... Must keep energy levels high.

Sending you positive energy as things get very exiting for you.

Wishing your family well, and remember: exercise is a great stress reliever!

We'll be here on the boards when you come up for air.

My absence from the board has been due to the arrival of my son! He's beautiful, perfect and a constant reminder as to why I am committing to a lifestyle of health and wellness.

Truthfully though it was difficult for a few days being confined to the hospital. I missed some workouts, and wasn't able to stick to my diet 100%. Perfectly OK though, as we are home now and I've been able to get back to the swing of things!

That's awesome news man! Congrats. Now that you're home the real fun begins! Enjoy.

Good luck with the little one! I became an uncle three months ago. I like to say I have the best job because I get the fun stuff, but you parents have a tough (but extremely satisfying, I'm sure) job.

Thank you everyone for the well wishes! Things are going well so far (fingers crossed). He sleeps and eats good and is very pleasant. I'm happy that my wife gives me the time to workout!

So after my 4 weeks of the muscle building TT, I'm thinking of switching to a Body Weight one. Maybe it's just my paranoia, but would there be a benefit or potential negative to doing that? I guess it's the mind set of lifting heavy weights and then switching to body weight movements seems backwards? Do I risk losing muscle if I keep diet/nutrition the same?
