Right. Day 2

I have some sort of stomach bug. Had it yesterday and today was no better. Not good!

Foodage

Smoothie
Sultana Bran
Apple (YES! I ate an actual piece of fruit! )
7 up free
fruity oaty bar (When I say bar, I use the term loosely. Because I'm such a tragic cook my mixture didn't bind as well as I would have liked, so instead of having bars I have to take a food bag with crumbs)

Tatty and Turnip soup
More fruity crumbs
Curried udon noodles with broccoli, pepper and onion
Cup of tea

Calories - 1419

Exercise for today...

Made it to the gym at work! Woo! Did 5 heavily assisted pullups, leg swings and stretching.

Then after work went to other gym and did workout A from original TT. Given I felt so rubbish getting there was an achievement in itself! Any other day I would have bailed.

So for my 8 pushups in the warmup I did 4 full and 4 kneeling. Used slightly lighter weights for chest press just because I hadn't done them in ages. And then I wanted to go on the bike for intervals cos my belly was feeling so weird, but someone was on it So I had to suffer the treadmill. Told myself I would just do 4 but somehow managed all 6 reps - pretty chuffed

And now I'm going to watch Scotland try to play football. Should be fun... (not).

Hope you get to feeling better soon. Just think, if you can accomplish all of this feeling like rubbish, you'll be a super star at your very best! :-)

I quite agree - sorry to hear you're feeling sick, but you did a great job finishing your workout.

Thanks everyone!

And I am feeling better! Much better. Not 100% yet but I'm sure by tomorrow I'll be back to normal.

I am proud of myself for going yesterday, usually I take any excuse I can get to skip the gym, but I'm so determined not to have any regrets during this contest.

Day 3

Ok so I'm still getting over the emotional rollercoaster that was Scotland v Liechenstein

Food

Smoothie
Sultana Bran
Apple
Fruity seedy crumbs
Wholewheat pita bread with hummus and yellow pepper
7 up free
Couscous, chickpea and artichoke salad

Calores 1589

I'm hungry! But I've resisted snacking since I've come in from work, and it's only 40 mins till salad now, so good stuff! I don't want to go over 1600 during the week because I know I'll have a couple of cheat meals at the weekend.

Off day exercise

15 core pilates workout
30 mins boing on my mini trampoline

Only a week till my dancing starts again, so that will make off day exercise much easier.

Now, where are my legwarmers?

So glad you're feeling better. And way to go avoiding any extra nosh! Super proud of you.

Oh legwarmers! *laugh* How that brings back memories of my younger "Flashdance" days! ;-)

Oh aye you can't beat a bit of leg warmer action! I mostly wear mine to the football under my jeans

Day 4

The stress at work just isn't funny! Geeeeezz...... Only 1 day till the weekend thankfully.

Food

Smoothie
Sultana Bran
Fruity oaty crumbs
Multigrain pita bread with hummus and yellow pepper
7 up free
apple
Raw cashews
Butternut squash vindaloo with brown rice
a few more oaty crumbs

Calories 1700

Higher cals for today, but I was feeling dead to the world. The gym was a big struggle, and could only do 4 1 min intervals rather than 6. Guess I'll have to work up to that

Exercise

5 pullups, leg swings, stretching
Workout B of original workout

DB pullovers hurt my arms in places I didn't know I had! Mountain climbers are evil too. My legs wobbled all the way home, and I'm seriously considering a 9pm bed time
