was a good week, some losses and minor re-gains on some measurements. The work outs are going good and I can feel myself getting stronger.

Default pictures are up

I went back and edited my start date and 2 weeks latter to add the pictures. To be honest I was hoping to not have to do that till the contest was over. I really get sick when I look at them. But, with the 5 week contest approaching I decided to bite the bullet and throw them up. When I got on the scales this morning I was at 339.8, I have not been under 340 in at least 6 years. I am starting to get comments from people and it is all such a good motivator.

I was reading all your posts!!! great improvementsss!

I will show my brother your posts to help him to find the motivation he needs to start losing weight. He is lightly overweight and I'm trying to convince him to start doing turbulence training.

You will be a great inspiration tool!!

Will continue reading your posts!

Julio

I read all your posts too, what a great start you've had! All the top notch core conditioning you get in TT will serve you very well in your career as a massage therapist. I agree 100% that getting processed food out of our diets has a major effect on mood and happiness. Just observe what happens to kids on junk food. I say junk food=junk life! Anyway, stay strong and stay on this path to your goal and amazing things will happen for you.

thank you for the support, I need to start journaling more on here. I have noticed it helps me stay focused, and makes it easier to stay with the plan. My normal job is as an Engineer for a pharmaceutical company and with the end of the month crunch i have not been keeping up the way I feel that I should, and find the daily fight to stay true to the program harder because of it. At our monthly close out meeting this morning one of the guys brought in a bunch of bagels and coffee, and I almost slipped. Then I remembered all of the progress I have been making and realized that being a social zombie is not worth loosing track of my goals. So I stuck with my Roobois tea and feel better for it. It is the small things that make the difference, I know this will make it so much easier to fight off temptation this weekend as I go from picnic to picnic for the holiday weekend.

Thumbs up

cahj1968 read your thread with interest, I am very much in the same boat, with very similar measurments, so I know exactly what you mean when you say "sick to the stomach" the feeling is very mutual, so don't feel alone here.
After just 5 days on TT I have achieved similar results to what you did after 5 days, good on you, may you continue on to a lean, heathy happy road forward.

Thanks for stopping by my thread with a welcome! I'm not too excited about looking at my pictures either. I get a good laugh when I look at my muffin top belly. Keep up the hard work. It's paying off.
