That sounds great fun!!

I must confess that I'm a bit of a wuss when it comes to things like that - I'd try to defend my self by telling you how accident prone I am but.....

Great start!!

BTW - what chance Andy Murray winning the US Open?

never know, he's doing well so far but sorry my money's still on Roger Federer even though Lleyton Hewitt made him work for it a little

women's draw throwing up a few interesting surprises though.

Good workout today. Got myself back to the gym for week 2 workout A

w-up x 2

y squat 15
elevated pushup 5/side
stickup 10
hip flexor stretch 20s
chest stretch 20s
hamstring stretch 20s

circuit x 3 this week

tuck jumps 6
single leg squat (to bench) 6ea
pullup (full/ecc) 0/3, 0/2, 0/2
shoulder press pushup 10
1 leg deadlift 6ea
chinup (full/ecc) 2/3, 2/3, 1/2
squat thrusts 10
1 leg hop 6ea

followed by intervals 6 x 60s on/60s rest - burpees, what else ! round 1 fantastic, getting closer to my alltime pb (which is 30, in boot camp test at beginning of this year) but numbers fell off after that - challenging interval set being 1:1 ratio, the 60s rest isn't quite enough

You stand up on a board which is bigger and wider than a surfboard (so more stable) and use one paddle swapping between right and left side. Pretty hard work as you are having to stabilise yourself the whole time (bit like continuously standing on a wobble board). But good fun and board is very stable - I have never even surfed before and was able to stay standing without falling off so if I can, anyone can. Going to drag some mates along to try it again sometime soon.

Eats, mixed bag.
That sounds like good core work!
