Hey Crystal! So did you get your measurements and pictures all done today? Don't feel bad about that 7 pounds, I am up about 10 pounds up from March, although my weight has been stable since early June (hmm that sounds even worse, it jumped up so quickly).

The 5K sounds neat, suddenly everyone is into running here!

I think I'll be starting on the 14th, although haven't completely made up my mind...

Default Beginning stats and pics

Yep, got all the measurements taken and such. I was kind of disappointed, though! I called my gym and asked if they could do body fat testing and they said they could. I went in to get it done and they used an Omiron handheld tester. Seriously??? I have that at home! I wanted someone to do an accurate caliper test on me!! Oh well....guess I'll just go with that this time. Here are the measurements:

Height: 5'4"
Weight: 157.2 pounds

Body fat: 30.8%
Fat pounds: 48.4
LBM: 108.8 pounds

Age: 34 (for 5 more days)
Neck: 12.5"
Bicep: 10.75"
Forearm: 9.25"
Chest: 37.75"
Waist: 35.5"
Hips: 41.5"
Thigh: 24"
Calf: 14"

Here are the pics. I'm pretty embarrassed that I look almost worse than I did at the start of TC4. Very frustrating, but I'm gonna kick it in this contest and make it so much better! In my defense, this is at the end of the day, right after dinner. Also, TTOM is coming up in the next couple of days. Hopefully this isn't really what I look like LOL

Default Day 2

Thanks, guys! I know I'm going to do great! I have a plan and everything now!!

As for yesterday, everything was ON PLAN! Whooo hoooo!!!! I ate everything according to my plan and I did my workout as planned. Here are the details of that:

Hardcore Fat Loss Workout A

Warm-up

Y-Squat - 10 reps
Decline push-ups - 8 reps
Bulgarian Split Squat - 8 reps per side
Spiderman climb - 10 reps per side

Specific warm-up
DB Flat press - 8 reps X 30 pounds
DB Row - 8 reps X 15 pounds
DB Flat press - 8 reps X 45 pounds
DB Row - 8 reps X 22.5 pounds

Workout A (2 times through)
DB Flat press - 6 reps X 60 pounds
DB Row - 6 reps X 30 pounds

DB Triple Press - 6 reps X 40 pounds
BB Row - 10 reps X 40 pounds

Deadlift - 20 reps X 45 pounds

Rest 60 secs between sets

Cardio
.25 mile warm-up
1 mile at 5.3 mph
5 min cool-down
18:36 total time

Funny thing...I saw 3 of my co-workers at the gym last night. I haven't seen anyone I know there since I started going over a month ago and last night saw 3 of them! Weird!

So, here's the plan for today:

Today, 9/1/09

Breakfast: cottage cheese, Ezekiel raisin toast w/ butter
Snack: yogurt, banana
Lunch: 1/2 chicken sandwich (grilled chicken, cheese, bacon on a bun), carrots, pear
Snack: boiled egg, carrots, peach
Dinner: Salmon, rice
Snack: apple w/ cashew butter

Total est calories: 1617
Fat: 30%
Carbs: 44%
Protein: 27%

Today for activity I'm going to go do some pull-ups for the September challenge. Might walk a little on the treadmill but maybe not since my step-dad threw me under the bus and told someone I could help them create/design a webpage tonight. I still have tire marks on my back from that! LOL! So, I at least have to do the pull-ups. Depending on the time, I may do more. Dinner is leftovers, so that won't take long to heat up. Anyway, that's what's on tap for today!

Oh, and btw I realized yesterday that my Hardcore Fat Loss program has 5 days of workouts I didn't realize it had that many when I signed up to do it!! I'll give it my best shot, though. We'll see how it goes!

Have a good day, ya'all!

LOL! Rob dubbed me Queen of the Forums when I said I was worried I'd be forgotten over in the WO threads!

Nah, you don't need me keeping an eye on you. You are going to do great! I can tell you are focused!

Hey, & it should be cooling off soon for you to start hiking!

You can switch workouts if you think you can do all the wo's. It would be bad for your self esteem to feel like you can't get all the wo's in. And on the other hand... it is called Hard Core Fat Loss! It would be a great kick start for you! And you wouldn't have to worry about what to do on your off days because you would only have one! lol

Good job staying on plan!

We'll see how it goes! Today is probably out, so I switched today for Thursday since that was just supposed to be an interval night. So Thursday I'll do the barbell complex that was supposed to be tonight. If after a couple of weeks I'm completely drained and wanting to die, I'll probably switch! LOL
