Hi Ma,

I put another zucchini recipe in the zucchini recipes thread for you. It's the last post on the thread at the moment and it's for zucchini stew.

Hello Ma,

I'm back for TC6 and just wanted to say Hi and whish you good luck for the contest!

Also, Jori told me you might be able to answer one question for me: can you please confirm that IT IS possible to drop body fat level down when eating for maintenance? I dont think I should continue eating for weight-loss and get below 150lbs...

Many thanks in advance,

Pat.

Hi Pat
thanks for visiting, I will attempt to answer your question here.

Your goal is to control fat loss while increasing lean body mass
How to maximize muscle and minimize fat
Nutrition is the key factor in gaining muscle and losing fat.
Not training. train to build muscle always.
Not cardio,
You should always tailor your training, cardio and nutrition to build muscle and lose fat

Each extra pound of muscle means you can eat about 50 additional calories.
The most important factor in building-lean muscle tissue while losing fat is your ratio of protein, fats and carbohydrates

For MOST people 50% protein 20%carbs and 30%fat is best for building muscle and losing fat at the same time.

The other important factor is caloric intake.
You can almost always eat more calories with a 50-20-30-ratio than with a lower fat diet. It is nearly impossible to gain lean muscle tissue when your calorie intake is below maintenance level.
To gain lean muscle you will probably need between about 12-18 cals.per pound of bodyweight. start with 15 cals per pound of bodyweight and take it from there.
If you have any questions please feel free.

Cheers
Ma

Going real well Kerry, one thing, I will find it harder to go back
to super sets after doing a building program with longer rest..

Was going to start today, my gym is closed, so will officially start
Wed. Take pics today and measurements, be ready to roll..

Thanks for checking in
Ma
