Default Seven Weeks To Summit

This will be brief as I'm off to teach TT. The TT Summit is in 7 weeks, and I want the last 5 pounds gone for good when I get there.

My fat loss philosophy continues to get get refined, and I'm learning so much from my students experience. Plus, it's time for another photo shoot to help with promoting "Keep the Change" so I have lots of reasons to enter.

Hoping to have at least 3 students in the contest as well.

Good luck and happy transforming!

Default My before and afters were swiped!

A weight loss shake company was using my TT pictures to sell their product. One of my students sells their shakes. She contacted them and said, "Hey, that's my coach, and she doesn't drink your product."

They apologized, and said they wouldn't use them any more.

Funny, and oddly flattering. Just like Craig with the kettlebell picture.

Congratulations!

I wonder if you can sue. Using your pictures without your permission is one thing, but the part that bothers me the most is that they are lying to their customers. Normally I'm not the type who is big on lawsuits, but hey if you can take all of an unethical company's money, that's a good thing!

Who knows; I know nothing about the law.

Mark

Thanks Concetta, and congratulations on your results in contest #16!

The answer by the way is my thighs. Spot reduction... I guess deep down I still think it can happen.

Default Back up on the horse

So this past week has included my reunion, my 49th birthday party, and the stressful but rewarding Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society. I choreographed and performed a contemporary dance in memory of my Mom, and all those who lost their battle with cancer for the Luminaria ceremony on Saturday night. The funny thing about being asked to step up and do something out of your comfort zone is that it can be a stress eating trigger.

Not to worry, I'm up just 2 pounds after a "Reward" filled week, but eating sugar and flour definitely puts me off my game. The biggest problem is the way sweets call out to me. Luckily, I have enough experience to know that the cravings stop after 3 days- sometimes less.

Training wise, I'm just crazy about 30 minute TT sessions. Before every class I pull one up on my Mac and I tweak them to suit the skill level of my students and to incorporate the weights at the studio. It's been nine months since we opened Gordon Studio, and it feels good to be developing a real sense of confidence in what we're doing here in Sonora.

It has been such a treat to read about your successes; dancer, TT winner, TT trainer, studio owner. Congratulations and thanks for being a great role model. Concetta
