Today's blender drink
- 12 oz water
- vanilla protein powder
- 1 banana
- twice as much frozen spinach as usual
- frozen strawberries (more than yesterday)

Not bad. Pretty thick.

Had with 2oz raw almonds and a spoonful of natural peanut butter.

Cruising on up on 124 hours (5 days) of perfect nutrition since that chocolate covered almond feast on Christmas day - LOL.

No coke zero either! Had a nasty habit of drinking a couple per week.

Default Too Thick, Too Sweet

Today's blender drink was too thick and too sweet. Ha! LOL.

Here's the recipe:
- 8oz (not enough!) of water
- 1/2 avocado (that was too much!)
- 6 dates (too many! LOL - you see a pattern here?)
- 2 handfuls of spinach (alas, also too much)
- 2 scoops BioTrust vanilla protein (just the right amount! for once)

had that with 2oz almonds, 1 red delicious apple, 1 spoon natural peanut butter, and 1 spoonful raw almond butter.

It looked like Slimer from Ghostbusters, although it tasted way better than it looked like it did in the movie.

New Year's Eve dinner with friendz

Small filet mignon with giant skillet of onions, mushrooms, and zucchini, a side of steamed asparagus and 2 glasses of red wine (a sweet Australian Shiraz).

Big dog walk today and a couple of blender drink experiments on the way.

Last night's dinner...was not Paleo (not that I'm eating Paleo) because I had beans and yogurt and protein powder. And I used a stove. But I don't think beans are allowed on a Paleo diet.

So just to be clear, I don't eat Paleo.

Then again, Paleolithic's didn't have blenders, so I was ruled out long ago.

Dinner:

- 1 can black beans
- chopped mushrooms and onions
- 1/3 of a large avocado
- lots of tomato sauce (organic, no sugar, of course)
- added some spices that Lesa Gutenkunst, CTT, sent me for Christmas
- all cooked in a skillet (I cook with organic butter)

Really great, but not a lot of food, so...

Dessert
- 1/2 orange
- 1 cup Greek yogurt + 1 scoop chocolate protein powder

No wine, and surprise, surprise, I slept great.

Gotta lay off the red because I know next week's business trip to Miami with Joel Marion, Bedros Keuilian, and 50 other fitness experts will lead to late nights and big dinners.

Sounds good... I'm back on BioTrust's protein powder, which tastes incredible by the way. One of my favorites is Almond Milk mixed with BioTrust protein, and 3/4th of a cup of cashews. I'm good for a while on that.

Boom goes the cashew dynamite,
Mike
