Default Week 1 in the books.

My wife and I have finished our first week of the contest. We didn't break from our plan once and made it through the weekend without screwing up the diet! (this is a big deal bc I can't remember the last time we ate well during a whole weekend) Anyway I ended up losing 3 lbs the first week. My goal isn't really for weight loss, but I know I'm gonna lose a little bit if I'm burning fat. My goal is to lean out and get stronger / a bit more muscle. I am doing the TT2k4 which should help me lean out and I'll probably do the Reformed Meatheads after for the muscle/strength. I am more happy for my Wifes progress so far which was a 4 lb loss. She is doing the Buff Guys Hot Chicks program. Can't wait to see what the future holds!

Back to the 5:30 am workout grind now that my gym is at fire code every night after work. It's been about 3 weeks since iv'e gone in the morning and now I remember why I did in the first place. Great workout and room to work! Today I did my first real deadlift ever. I always replaced deadlifts with RDL's and/or low weight squats due to two knee surgeries that left my right knee at about 75% at best. My knee pain is at a minimum so I thought I'd give it a try today in the TT2K4 workout B. It went well other than I may have the weakest legs on a man you've ever seen. But hey, I can only go up from here. Hope everyone else is succeeding.

Any advice for someone who is traveling to Vegas next week? It is for work but am traveling with a coworker who is not health conscious at all. I'm gonna be there 3.5 days and don't want to destroy my results that I've achieved. I know its all up to me stay on track. Just wondering what other people have done when traveling.
