Default Rob's back on track

I joined the contest on 9/11. Was able to talk one of the other deacons from church into joining me. We have been maintaining an accountability message stream on FB to keep up with our meals and workouts. We're doing the intermediate level of the original TT for Fat Loss.

I had gained about 10 pounds since finishing the contest back in March. Had a couple of months in there where I dropped down to about 1 workout a week and was crushing the sweets that were always available in the office. But since I bought smaller clothes and donated my old pants after the contest, I had to get back on the ball!

Doing this with someone else has already paid dividends. A co-worker placed a plate of cupcakes on the table beside my cube the other day, and just knowing that I would have to tell somebody about it helped me to turn my head and stay away. I even took a cam pic of it and texted it to reinforce.

Anyway, glad to be back in the mix guys.

Will post our beginning stats when I get Mel's (the other deac).

Just saw your finish photos. Great job. Your musculature is starting to shine.

Great progress there, Rob! I think the biggest secret is building, and maintaining good habits......it makes it easier to frown at the cupcakes!

Nice finish, Rob. Your facebook accountability system sounds like a good idea that many people could get inspired by...I don't facebook (well, I have an account but that's about the end of it) but I can see how that would be a terrific means of support. It's like the forum but on a smaller scale.

Default Thanks Guys

I think that I've decided to give Buff Dudes a run now that the contest is over. Seems like people have been saying great things about it. Craig has so many great programs that it gets hard to choose what to do next, but I think that I've made the choice!

In the meantime, I'm heading back to my hometown next week, and I need to figure out what I'll do to keep my momentum going while away from my setup here. May be taking Craig's hotel room workouts with me, or one of the other bodyweight programs.

What about you guys? What are you going to do over the holidays?
