I hate that about the measurements/water retention. It can really blow a photo op. I fasted the day of my final photo even though the appointment was at 6pm because I just could not risk eating anything that might make me bloated. I chose my start date by calculating out the end date so that it would be as far from my period as possible. Women should get special considerations.

I concur! Water retention is the worst

SERIOUSLY!!! One inch from all over- that's ridiculous. No wonder I felt so horrible! Today I can feel my muscle by my hip bone so I know I'm still progressing.

This is usually such a bad time of year for me. I think it has to do with allergies but for some reason every year for the past, maybe, 6 or 7 years I've taken a break and then extended that break for weeks on end. I mean 7, 8 weeks. This year I decided that I will NOT do that again. It just puts me even further back than zero. I have missed a few workouts in the last 2 weeks and I am fighting myself but I'm pretty sure I'm in control. I did get to the gym this morning but late. AS usual. I think it was maybe a good thing though because it made me think about every other morning. I get there too late to do a complete workout. Always missing something or a lot of something. How can I expect great results with mediocre effort. Combine that with 80% compliance in the diet and there you have it. Mediocre results. Just maintaining. At least I know how to do that now. So, this is something I can work on. I feel good about that because there is much room for improvement.

You're on the right track so don't be too hard on yourself. If you know where you need to improve and don't give up, you WILL see more results. Also, it's a pretty hard task to maintain weight - just ask the yoyo dieters! I bet if you make just a wee tweak to your diet or workout you'll notice a positive change

Alright, I'm going to try to post my photos here. I am notoriously bad at this. Let's see what happens.

Ok, got one- the before. I'm trying for the after now.

This is also frustrating. I"m still trying to get my after pic in here.

Okay, apparently my picture is too big. I'll have to get my daughter to help me with this.

Last try for the night. Let's see if it works.

Nope.
