Wink I'm throwing my HAT (or should I say FAT) into the ring??

Well, I'm in! I've started!

TC6 starts for me today.........Thursday 3rd September (in Oz)........got my newspaper, my photo & my measurements. All, except the newspaper are embarassing!

I'll post my starting stats:

Weight: 56kg (123.2lbs)
Height: 5ft.3in. chicky babe

Waist (smallest): 68cm (27in)
Spare tyre (belly button) :79cm (31in)
Hips: 88cm (34.7in)

BF% (calipers) = 29%

I'm not going to do any other measurements............don't want to get to bogged down in stats.

Started TT Bodyweight for Abs today........& I'm already feeling the DOMS in my glutes (did advanced w/o A, incl. intervals). I think w/o B will have to be the beginner/intermediate. Just looking at the advanced w/o B is scary! Grasshopper push-ups????

Nutrition: I've decided to go with Empowered Nutrition......1200cals & see how that pans out for me. I plan to choose more fruit & veg over complex carbs, but will still throw in the odd bowl of oats or slice of rye bread (love the chewiness of Burgen Rye).

Off on holidays tomorrow..........Daydream Island.........can't wait. One of my girlfriends was saying how 'cool' it is to eat snacks & drink by the pool all day & have waiters serve you poolside so you don't burn any calories! Maybe I'll be chasing my 4.5yo around all day long or I'll thrash about in the pool trying to swim! I will not lie next to pool ALL DAY long! Taking TT with me & I am determined to come back smaller, not bigger!

Best wishes to all other TC6 participants..........I hope we all achieve our goals!

Hi Mich!

You are so darn funny! Surely you will keep things light around here.

And at 123.2 lbs @ 5' 3" I would say you don't have much fat to throw in! lol But this contest will help you get those last few lbs off & you will be so pleased!

Best of luck!

Wink

Thanks guys for all the well wishes!!

Back with fury after a fantastic holiday! We all enjoyed ourselves too much..........but back on the straight & narrow as of yesterday!

Did all my TT w/o's whilst away..........super doopa proud of that! Had the gym to myself EVERYDAY! Copped a few weird looks.........probably never seen people actually using the gym!

More weird looks at all-you-can-eat buffet breakfasts..........up once.........small bowl of fruit, natural yoghurt & a few nuts & seeds, & a bit of bircher muesli. Even my boys were good... up to the buffet 3 times each, but always fruit, hi-fibre cereal & baked beans.

What's with the all inclusive buffet?? People have no end to their breakfast? Is it the only meal for the day? Couple of well-built characters had plate-loads of reasonably nutritious stuff. They look liked they worked out. BUT, I reckon 85% of the people there were waddling up more than 5 times each & coming back with carbo-loaded plates of toast, croissants, bacon, hash browns, pancakes, fried eggs, more toast..........coz 4 slices wasn't enough? And of course you have to wash that all down with 5 glasses of orange juice??
I find it just mind-boggling..........& mind-changing! I realised that I have come far in the last few months......even years..........changing my eating gradually........3 yrs ago I would have polished off a couple of pastries & pancakes!

Live & Learn eh?

Haven't taken any measurements or weight yet........maybe I'll settle in for another week at home, before taking the plunge? LOL.

Vic.AUSTRALIA.

P.S. Hey Tabitha.........it doesn't sound like much, but I am 29% BF! It seems to sit all around the middle.........my pre-TT photo looks just like my avatar! LOL.

Welcome back!

Awesome job getting in your wo's & eating good while away!

Yep, you can practically get sick watching people stuff themselves at buffets. I guess when it's "all you can eat" they go crazy!

I doubt you look like your avatar! lol

Hi Mich,

I'd get a re-pinch with those calipers! I find it hard to believe that you have 29% body fat with your weight and measurements. I hope to be where you are at now after the 7th Transformation Contest. I also hope to be below 25% fat then.

Have a great contest!

Too true on your post about the buffets.

We went to Las Vegas in June and I was amazed and sickened by the amount of food people ate at the buffet there. I am not a buffet eater because I normally don't think the food is that great to justify the expense and I also don't feel like I eat enough to justify the expense of so-so food. However, ee wound up there for breakfast every day because the hotel 'comped' the buffets for us and since it was a free meal, that's what we ate.
