Default We are All In This Together

Hi All

I haven’t been actively participating in the forums, though I read them every day. I am so inspired by so many of you who have made positive changes in your lives by taking the first step with exercise and diet.

Fitness and nutrition are a part of my everyday life… I truly live and breathe it. Even though its apart of my daily routine I honestly have to admit there are times I lose my motivation.

Then I pop on to the TT forums, and it rejuvenates me again.

I have a few goals that I would like to reach. But, most of all I feel so driven by all of you. I want to do this together one day at a time with each of you.

Looking forward to this!!

-L

Hey Heater

Thanks for reaching out! I am working on improving my upper-body strength and balance. – I race sail boats as a hobby. Sometimes I skipper my own boat and crew on others. I have a few ocean races coming up so I want to improve these area’s for the new season.

My kangaroo pouch is another area that needs some attention. My down fall is the carbs and yummy sweets. Even though I eat healthy I enjoy to more cheat days than I should. So, my goal is to focus on my nutrition, increase my upper-body strength, and work on my balance AND to go through this with day by day with each of you.

Today was an off day. I did a little 20 -10 interval of running in place and push ups. 4 rounds.

Breakfest - 2 poached eggs (my fav)
juiced - cucumber, kale, pear, ginger

Lunch - spaghetti squash (spaghetti squash substitute for pasta) Tossed with Olive Oil, Avocado and Parmesan

Dinner - steamed broccoli and a small piece of baked cod.

Shutting down. 4:am comes early...

Hi Lesa, thanks for stopping by my log! Love the name of your journal. Where do you live that you race sailboats? What a great hobby! I am so jealous. Good luck with your challenge. I will be following you.

Those sound like some good goals. That sounds like a great hobby - I'd love to live somewhere that allowed any sort of water-related hobby, but I'm a bit land-bound here.

There are a few of us here this go-round that are trying to get rid of a "pouch", so let's hope we all find success with that!
