I have really slacked off during the holiday period and am finding it tough to get back into the swing of things, but I remember that this sometimes happens and it takes me a few go's at it to get back to it.

So as they say, keep going and don't give up!

The next day was a bit better and although I still ate some stuff I should not have, it was in smaller quantities so it's getting better.

I have maintained my TT workouts throughout the holidays and we used a school playground to do the Fantastic 400 workouts, which are really tough.

Today was my first day back at work and that helps for sure, so I have managed to fast so far, it will not be a full 24 hrs fast as I ate late last night but am aiming for 18 hours at least, will see how I get oin,

Training:

Yesterday was workout A Phase 1 from 24/7

legs felt sore today after those lovely burpees!

Today: workout B Phase 1 - interval training 10 intervals done on treadmill at 8kmph then 14kmph

So am def back into the swing of getting to the gym, just need to crack the nutriton.

We have another social full weekend, so I will try my best, but think it might be next week before everything slots into place fully,

Just to make things a bit harder, we are in the throws of packing up the house to move back to the UK. This is a huge move for us and I am in turmoil,, about whether it's the right thing, but FIL is terminally ill and we really think that the boys need to spend some time with their grandad before he passes away. Not sure if it will be a permanent move, but feel it's the right thing to do right now.

Quite scary moving back without any jobs but at least we can stay with family for a while and hopefully things will work out...

anyhow that's me for now, onwards and upwards and back to boxes etc!!

Cheers for now Katie
Wow... big move for you guys! Sounds like you've wanted to do this for a while tho'. Best wishes. I know what you mean about getting back on the horse.. I'm kinda feeling that too.. especially with workouts. Having the kids back at school helps get back into the routine.. sounds like your workouts have been pretty solid tho.. good stuff.

This is big news for you. But it sounds like the right decision, given all you've said about being so far from family, etc. Things have a way of working themselves out, so I'd not worry about the jobs for now. If it's possibly temporary, you may be able to arrange for a leave of absence with work.

Good luck and keep us updated!

Wow, what a big move for you guys, but it's awesome that you're able to do that- I think it sounds like a great thing for your family.

Good luck, can't wait to hear about it all!

Hi Katie

Just been reading your news, and it must be a very stressful situation for you and your family. Afterall, family is what matters most. Aim to maintain, thats a tough task but keep with it.

Hope your move back to blighty goes smoothly. X

Hi Guys

just a quick message, to say Hi and let you know I am still around, although not as active on the forum as I would want to be. Today is my last day at work and this time next week we will be in a big bird in the sky leaving NZ.

Last few weeks have been totally mental and it's not over yet, moving house is crazy, moving countries is even more crazy.

Eating has been up/down, everyong wants to see us and socialise before we head off, so been lots of drinking and eating.

But I have been really strict with my training and been follwoing 24/7 to the T, am really loving it, has really kept me sane.

So I am pretty much maintaining now, have been relaxed with eatingf over the weekend then done a couple of fasts in the week which seems to be OK for now and keeping me steady. I still have a couple of lbs to lose to get back to contest 12 finishing weight, but I will tackle that once move is over.

Once we get settled back on the other side, I will get super strict again and get back on track proper.

but just wanted to let you know I am still here ticking along OK, sorry not been able to get on the forum and keep up with everyone's posts and give you support, but honestly there is just so much to do at the moment.

Also the kids have been off school for 7 weeks, it's the Summer hols and hubby been working away, and I am still working so all very stressful and feel like we are runnning out of time to get things done now!

OK deep breath!

Will try to take a quick look see how you are all doing, but might take me a while to catch up.

Keep up the great work everyone, am sure you are rocking it, great to see so many joining another contest.

Cheers for now keep smiling

Katie
