Default A transformation in the making...

Hello to everyone making the first transformation of 2010!!!

This is my first transformation with the help of TT Ive been at it 6 days days so far and I love it!

I have always lifted heavy at the gym but found myself doing cardio up to 2 hrs some days(am/pm). My diet was EXTREME in an all or nothing kind of way. Terrible...and I ultimatly have no one to blame but myself. So with that being said, I'm taking accountability for my eating and realize its OK to have occasional "naughty" foods and not binge when I have them either.

Last night was a big test. My supportive husband, except when it comes to food, went out to get "treats" because he "needed" them. He asked me what I wanted. Ugh!!! First I said "nothing!!!" I still had not eaten my last meal (protein shake) and decided that it was OK to have a not so nutritious Snickers Bar instead. I had complied to my diet all week without straying once and mentally needed it to be ok to have the candy bar. Otherwise Im headed for binge city, and then completly falling off the wagon. Not this time! I'm on a mission! I'm focused and nothing can stop me!!!

So here are my beginning stats(pics to be posted soon):

Weight: 132.6 lbs
Body Fat: 27.0%
Arms: R 11.5 in
L 11.5 in
Chest: 33 in
Waist: 27.5 in
Belly B: 31.75
Hips: 34
Thigh: R: 22
L:22

Currently doing Original TT

Week 1 down!!! Yay!!!
Im glad I re-read the article on cheat meals. I gained focus that if I want incredible results, it's going take incredible strength and mental focus...I can do this! I am doing this

I took my 1 week measurements-very happy!
weight: 129.2 (-3.4)
R arm: 11.5
L arm: 11.23 (-.25)
chest: 32.75 (-.25)
waist: 27 (-.50)
Belly B: 30 (-1.75)
Hips: 33.25 (-.75)
R thigh: (-.25)
L thigh: (-.25)

Lost 3.4 pounds and 4 inches total

Its amazing to me how less bloated you feel when you cut the crap out of your diet. I woke up this morning feeling very lean.

Still using TT Original, just bumped up the reps by 1. A little tired on the tread but probally because I was up late watching the Strongman Comp lol

Thanks Craig!

Tonight will be a test for sure. Get together at a friends... Im eating before I go and plan on bringing my ever so tasty drink of choice-water I already told a couple people who will be there about my transformation...the supportive ones(thank god for them) and warned them I was not partaking in the usual vodka and cranberry juice or Miller lights.

hope your party turned out well. Very common to have those little obstacles here and there...but when your minds in it - nothing can stop you.

great job so far!

The party was fun as always! Lots of dancing and our usual sillyness lol. I munched on baby carrots (thank u Lori) and survived most of the night on water... Then I caved. I had 1 and only 1 vodka and cran juice and I'm OK with that.
My BIGGEST problem holding me back from accomplishing my goals is my all or nothing mentality. I have to get over that. As much as I want to be perfect with my diet and not cheat once, I have to. I have to teach myself that its OK to enjoy a favorite meal or drink once in a while and not look at myself afterwards as a failure and then throw in the towel and quit. I guess it really makes sense as to why Craig calls it a "reward" instead of a cheat. I did awesome this past week and I deserve a "reward"- I earned it!

Easy run on the tread today for 35 min as my active rest. Felt great.

That's the right attitude. You're going to do great. Have your occasional reward and then move on. And listen to minexdy1019 - he really knows his stuff!
