Hey Crystal, just read your intro. I'm so excited for you! I know that you are going to be great in this transformation like you always do.

Yeah Crystal. So where is 1900 miles away exactly??

I'm not hiking much since my foot problem still plagues me. But let's meet for a hike anyway SOON. How about hiking Camelback one morning? You pick the day ... any day after Jan 21st.

If Camelback doesn't suit you, name something else.

Ooooohhhh .... how about Picacho?

???

I've never done Camelback before, so I would like to do it! I just hate fighting over parking spots!!! Picacho would work, too! Never done it either! I stick to the lesser traveled paths, usually, but need to do some of the "big" ones!

He's in the Atlanta area...makes it hard to really have a relationship, but we're doing the best we can right now! Unlimited minutes and texts on the cell phone works wonders!

Default Week 1, Days 1 & 2

So, I started 2K10 Monday with workout A. I have to say I felt really silly doing all those things in the gym, but yesterday, I surely felt the benefit! Here are the details:

TT2K10

Warm up
1A) Jumping Jacks 20 reps
1B) Prisoner Squat 10 reps
1C) Step Overs 6 reps per side
1D) Duck Unders 6 reps per side
1E) Leg Swings 20 reps per side
1F) Pushup 8 reps

Workout A (2 times thru)

1A) Squat Jumps - 8 reps
1B) Decline Push up - 12 reps
1C) WYTs - 8 each

2A) Barbell Squat - 8 reps X 105 pounds, crash set - 8 reps X 75 pounds
2B) SB Ab Pike - 8 reps, crash set - 8 reps

3A) 1 leg Hip Extension - 15 reps per side
3B) SB Leg Curl - 10 reps
3C) SB Plank - 45 sec hold

4) 5 minutes of DB Swings (40 sec swing, 20 sec recovery X 5)

Then because of my schedule for this week, I had to do workout B last night. Probably not good in that my back didn't really have time to rest, but at least I'm getting it in! Here are yesterday's details:

TT2K10

Warm up (same as above)

Workout B (2 times thru)

1) KB 1 Arm Swing - 15 reps

2A) DB Low incline press - 8 reps X 50 pounds, crash set 8 reps X 40 pounds
2B) DB CSR - 12 reps X 30 pounds, crash set 8 reps X 20 pounds

3A) Chin-up - 12 reps
3B) Dips - 10 reps

4A) DB Curls - 8 reps X 30 pounds
4B) DB Overhead Tricep Extension - 12 reps X 15 pounds
4C) DB Rear Deltoid raise - 10 reps X 10 pounds

My neck and shoulder are still giving me problems. I think I'm making an appt for the chiropractor today. I'm tired of always having this problem! It's bad enough now that when I try to pull of my shirt, it hurts every time! Time to go away!!!

I'm also going to keep track of the treats I've had for the week. I had one sugar cookie last night so, treat count = 1 for this week so far. I want to keep it down to 3-4 per week.

That's all from me for today! Hope everyone has a fabulous day!!

It's been awhile for me. I used to do it 2-3x/week back when I worked near there.

The parking issue at Camelback is really no big deal. There is one line in and one line out. If the lot is full, the cars line up and wait until a car leaves. Then the next car in line takes it....kind of like the ladies room. So you don't drive around and around and then miss a spot that you just drove past.

I don't think Picacho is that heavily travelled.

You do know that there are a million things around here named Camelback right?

There are no offices on Camelback mountain.

Either one works for me!! You wanna plan that for the 23rd? Are Saturdays OK with your schedule?
