It was acctually kind of cool to try then and get over that "mental hump" in my mind. Once I did one I thought "This is great! I really can do it, too!"

BTW, thanks to Andy for posting that video of them! It helped me do the mental-run through on the exercise and make sure Idid them the right way!

Off-day today. We went to the YMCA and I put in 1/2 hour on the treadmill, with some running intervals thrown in just for fun. Followed with some stretching, foam rolling and ab-work. Came home, had lunch and took down all the inside Christmas decorations. Outside ones are still up, but it's too stinking cold out to take them down.

Tomorrow will be a pure rest day - unless you count vaccuuming the whole house as exercise.

Poker tonight. We're teaching the kids how to play. It's our college plan. Teach them to play poker, make sure they are really good in math, and then they can pay for their own college expenses by counting cards at the casinos. Just need to find a good school in a gambling town......

We are in N IL - right on the IL/WI stateline. Top, middle of the state, just North of Rockford IL :-)

I could never survive Canadian cold - you are all pretty hardy folks up there!

Week 2 of TT2K20 - but actually I amstarting it this week as if I were just starting from the beginning. Last week, I went through it only one set per day to ease myself back into working out. So, this week I am starting it as if it were the first week and going through at 2 sets, per instructions in the workout.

I went to the doctor Friday afternoon and she thinks I should take it easy on the workouts, and not push myself too hard. So this competition will be about trying to eat right and focus more on form with the exercises, and not hitting any PB's for weights. It's going to be hard, but I need to really focus on that in the gym and not let myself get carried away.

I had a GREEN SMOOTHIE for breakfast this morning and it was good! (I'm going to post the recipe in the recipes section). I have to say, I was dubious on adding spinach to a smoothie, but I did it and it was good! So, thanks, Craig, for continuing to post about yor smoothies with spinach!
