You did great today! I am not to that level yet...but give me time and I will be one of these days

Great job on getting your interval in on Wed...I knew you would. Boy, those gals were hurting from working out with you LOL

We'll have to come up with a nick-name for me. I did a lot of work with a trainer in Janesville whose nick-name was "Killer Kelly." She came up with some pretty challenging work outs and some of the guys who worked at the club refused to work out with her because her work outs were so tough. Personally, I loved her work outs and thought she was great!

Oh, by the way, the cat will be fine. Nothing to be surgically removed. I have located the $400 cat toy (that's about what the toy that she ate cost me when I tally up the cost of all the work at the vet) and threw it away. The barium seems to be pushing the remnants of the thing she ate through her and we are helping it along with the aid of some tuna flavored kitty laxtive.

Fun times at my house, again. At least the hacking & gakking is coming to an end.

It's always something :-)

Well, It's spring break here and the gym was DEAD this morning. It was odd. However, my 2 new workout buddies showed up for another round of BFL with me! Here's what we did:

Booty for Life - weeks 5-8

Warm-up:
10 reps of BW squats x 2
20 seconds plank x 2
8 push -ups x 2
10 seconds per side for plank x 2

Workout A Warm-up two times thru:
DB Bulgarian Split Squats x 8reps @ 5lb DB's, 10lb DB's
1-leg stability ball leg curl x 8reps (x2)

Workout A:
1A) DB BSS 3 x 8 @ 20lb DB's (increased from last week)
1B) 1-Leg stability ball leg curl 3 x 8reps

2A) Reverse lunge 3 x 8reps @ 20lb DB's (increased from last week)
2B) Plank with arms on ball 3 x 20sec

3A) Reaching Lunge 3 x 10
3b) Side Plank 3 X 30sec

Followed with Interval workout A and stretching.

My 4 y/o has decided that she wants her ears pierced! So, this afternoon we are off to a place called Monkey Joe's for the kids to jump away on all kinds of bouncy things (it's indoors) and after that, we will go get her ears pierced. Wish me luck!

The ear piercing went well- she has new Hello Kitty earrrings and is so proud of them! She didn't even make a peep and swears it didn't hurt!

Wednesday....winding down the last week of BFL weeks 5-8.

Here's today's:

BFL W/O B (weeks 5 to 8)

Warm-up:
10 reps of BW squats x 2
20 seconds plank x 2
8 push -ups x 2
10 seconds per side for plank x 2

1A) Ecc Pull-up 3 x 5
1B) Elevated Pushups 3 x 10

2A) Bench Press 3 x 8 @ 65lbs
2B) Underhand Seated Row 3 x 8 @ 120lbs (increase from last week)

3A) Close Grip DB Press 3 x 8 @ 25lb DB's (last set was actually @ 30lb DB's)
3B) Seated Row 3 x 12 @ 110lbs (this was increased from last week, too)

Had to leave the gym early again, so I need to get some type of intervals in. It's a beautiful day here, so I think I will do something like this outside:

BW Squats
Mountain climbers
Side Lunges w/touch down
Jumping Jacks
Burpees
KB Swings

I'll post later to let y'all know how it went!

Jori

Default Mike's results

I'm not sure if this is Mike's thread too, but I want to congratulate him on his results. Those are some impressive pictures. Awesome work, man! It's amazing what you can do in 12 weeks, right?
