Oh probably, on the avatars, but you'll probably see them most on my thread in the WO Journals, as I am not in TC7.

Good Luck Waleed! Have you decided when you are starting, yet?

First workout of 2010 completed today! I never finished off TT 2K3 at my last attempt so I'm going to start of TC7 with this workout. Today's workout was a warm-up and preparation, a way of letting the body know what's coming. I cut back the weights way back with the goal of getting through the workout, working on form and figuring out what I need to concentrate on.

Nutrition is falling into place and I've cut out the sugar, coffee and most dairy. I'm planning to start on Saturday and I hope to be fully into the swing of things by then.

This contest will be all about finding the right nutrition to burn the fat. I'm going to proportionately increase the amount of veggies I eat, cut back on fruit slightly and of course keep all the other nasties under control.

I'm getting hyped up about TC7 and I'm looking for a strong start this weekend!

I could never cut out my coffee, though.........they say it is good for you 3-4 cups a day............so, i guess I will keep mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My big downfall is the SUGAR !!!!! but I keep working at it!

I've been able to get to the forums as often as I like - I've been busy with work trying to meet a 13 Jan deadline.

Yesterday was my official start day, so today is day 2. Nutrition is falling into place but could be tighten up a bit more. I'm feeling quite inspired by Isabel De Los Rios' program at the moment and am working on cutting out wheat, dairy and everything white. The key to success for me in this contest is going to be nutrition!

I completed my first "competition workout" - 2K3 workout A. I increased the weights somewhat since my warm-up workout and I felt like I got a "good" workout. 2K3-A usually turns my arms to jelly and today was no exception.

I'm planning to catch up with everyone's threads by the end of the week as well as posting my own plans and goals.

It's started and I'm feeling good...

Off to a good start Waleed...I just can't give up my coffee, need it in the
morning...Still drink a lot of green tea.

Good Luck with the nutrition, stay true.....

Cheers

Thanks Ma. I wouldn't say I'm a big coffee drinker and I usually enjoy one cup in the morning. However, I find that I do much better when I give up coffee entirely and have more energy and think more clearly. So, now I have one really good cup coffee once a week as a treat. Let's see how this tactic works for me during this contest....

Work is still super-busy but I'm on track to be done by the weekend.

I did the second workout for TT2K3 last night. I've injured my left knee somehow and I can't do the lunges etc. I've posted a thread in the "Training/exercises" forum asking for help with alternatives or what I should do until the knee heals. I'm icing and massaging it at the moment and my wife (a doctor) suggested trying a knee support for while.

I'm finding 2K3 to be quite challenging and it's pushing my to my limits (as it should). But I finished feeling a bit frustrated with myself because of how difficult I found it and how "out of shape" I felt. I'm going to stick with it though and I'm planning to hit the full number of reps on all the exercise by the end of the 4th week.

One thing I noticed though is that I'm getting any DOMS the next day. I feel like I've worked out hard and I'm failing on the last rep of the last superset so I'm sure I'm lifting heavy enough but the next day, I feel "normal" and don't get the stiffness I used to get with previous workouts. Not sure what that means and as long I'm improving, I don't mind!

Nutrition is going really well and I'm feeling like there is a small difference and improvement every day (my skin is clearing up really fast - for those who don't know me from previous contests, I suffer from psoriasis).

Planning to catch up with everyone's news soon!
