Today is my official start date of the challenge. I'm usually not into the "make resolutions" thing, but this year in light of my success in the last challenge, I decided that my resolution is continued success in the fitness lifestyle. I never thought I would finish 12 weeks, so doing another 12 weeks back to back will definitely prove to myself the sustainability of my lifestyle.

I put on a little bit of holiday weight (5 pounds), but I'm certainly not discouraged. I enjoyed myself, took a break from working out and am feeling recharged and refreshed! I've decided to do the 2K14 Fat Loss Guru to start.

I've also enlisted 6 people for my "Proulx Crew" who will be doing Turbulence Training with me for twelve weeks. Not sure if they will be joining the forums, but I'm kind of their motivator and I've decided to help them by issuing mini challenges (I'm hoping this will help them see through the 12 weeks). Our first challenge is that for the first 2 weeks of the challenge, we are eliminating all processed foods. Sort of a true body detox, we will be making sure to eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables and protein.

That's all for now!

Thank you sir!

Day 1 was not to be trifled with. Maybe it was the gravy or the New Year's champagne, but I was sweating like a stuck pig by the end of it. Holy S$$$!!!!

I started my wife on TT 2.0, the Beginner. She struggled quite a bit, but she managed to get the entire workout done. Very proud!

So question about the 2K14. Would I do day 2 tomorrow after doing day 1 today? I'm wondering because some of the exercises seem to hit the same muscle groups as today. Just wondering about recover/over-training? Spanks muchly!

Yes, that's the schedule. Cut back on intensity or number of sets if you need to. Let me know how it goes.

Oh I'll tell you how it went.... I can't feel my arms! Question about the DB/KB Offset lunge, walk etc. No KB over here, so special way to hold DB? I just look at how the hands are in the diagram and replace KB with DB.

you can hold them both by your side and try different weights in each hand.

Is there a typo on Day 4 of the 2K14? I'm just wondering if the "crying like a little boy" set is supposed to come after the 2nd circuit, or at the very end, or both?

This workout is kicking my ass in the best way possible!
