![]() Going greater (and faster) than I imagined. Although I'm not judging by the scale, I am down about 6 pounds
![]() My energy has gone up with the tightening of the diet. Nothing crazy either... just cutting back on my cheating. Sabrina is doing great, too. She is down 2 pounds (but she looks leaner than that - she promised she wouldn't judge by the scale either). We're cruisin'! Thanks for checking in! Mikey |

![]() Nice job, Mikey! I've been struggling with my diet myself and have just finally righted the ship. Thanks for providing a little more motivation to keep it going!

![]() I have to say... I'm pretty pumped today.
I don't gauge my success by the scale, but instead I gauge it on how I feel and how I look. I've been feeling lighter going up and down the basketball court when I play. And when I press either one of my boys up in the air, it's been easier. I can "Snatch" Champ and Deakan with ease ![]() This morning, after stepping on the scale, I realized I have lost about 9 pounds. More importantly, I simply "feel" healthier. I'm going to keep it going, Mikey |

![]() Well done Mikey!
I just picked up bootcamp games via your link. I'm looking forward to receiving finisher games. I'm going start up some group training soon and will be plugging those suckers in. |

![]() It was the first Super Bowl with me NOT doing something I've been doing for years.
In the past, I would go "all-out" on Super Bowl Sunday... we're talking chips and dips, wings, sausage balls, chips/salsa and more... all BEFORE the "main dish". The main dish would be usually something like pizza. Then it was a variety of 2-3 desserts that I would pile onto my plate. 12,000 calories later, I would finally stop eating. But NOT this year. Sure, I enjoyed my planned reward meal and dessert (steak fajita/cheese with a brownie). But because we didn't go out and buy all those chips, dip, etc, I didn't pile on my usual 12k calories. "Just because it's the Super Bowl, doesn't mean I go all out. Sure, I can eat my normal planned reward meal, but let's skip all the nonsense before and after. What I'm doing is working, so I need to stick with it." I said to my wife. She happily agreed (of course, she wouldn't cheat nearly as hard as I would - ha!). And for the first time in years, I went to bed without feeling overly stuffed and miserable after a Super Bowl. It looks like the Seahawks weren't the only one to get a win last night. Cruise control, Mikey |
