Default How do you "do" the Transformation Contest?

Sorry folks, I should have written this a long time ago...but here are the instructions on what you need to do in the contest...

Mandatory To Do List
  1. Once you are ready to get started take your before photo
  2. Do any combination of TT workouts for 12 weeks
  3. Take your after photo
  4. Write your 300 word essay
  5. Send that in before the end of the contest.
Recommended To Do List
  1. In addition to All of the Above...
  2. The majority of our past winners have started a "thread" (aka transformation journal) here in this forum where they update daily/weekly with their progress, and also ask others for help with specific questions. (I check in on these journals as much as I can, but if you need specific workout or nutrition advice, its better to post directly in the training or nutrition forum.)
  3. Research shows that posting on a regular basis helps women (amd hopefully men) get more results in their weight loss program, so I encourage as much recording as possible - and that also helps you learn a lot about your body and how it responds to certain exercises, foods, programs, etc.
  4. Hopefully you have time to start a journal, and I know you'll get even more out of the program when you do that.
  5. I know other past TT transformers will have their own recommendations, so hopefully they will chime in with other top tips...
  6. Of course, you will also want to...
  • Plan, shop, and prepare your meals each week
  • Clean out your pantry of junk (if its in the house you are going to eat it, so get it out!)
  • Use Fitday.com to find out what you're eating
  • Join my Facebook page for daily motivation - www.Facebook.com/TTfatloss
  • Listen to the TT Audio coaching call every Sunday found at www.TTfatloss.com
  • What else am I missing?

Default Question for TTC#7

I submitted my entry online for this contest last week, but I was not planning to start my 12 week journey until Monday, January 11th. Is that ok since I entered on or around the 2nd of January? I have been out of town and knew I would not be able to be as focused as I needed to be.

Do I just take my before picture on Monday and begin tracking my workouts? I hope I haven't messed this up already!! lol

Thanks in advance for any advice or help!
Amy

Default 7th Transformation Contest

Thanks Craig for all the info

I also did the 6th contest and it was good but would have been a lot better if I had not had to suffer, after about 14 weeks, two bouts of severe hip pain in the space of 10 days.
I bought the book "The 7- day back pain cure" and i have an inversion table on order; I have had 3 deep tissue massages to get rid of some of the knots in my back.
In the 6th Transformation contest I had started the 2K3 Workout before my problems arose.
I am ready to start again what would you suggest I do first?

Bruce

Default How to join

I know I'm showing my ignorance, but how do you submit an entry? I'm new to all of this but it's time I did something about my weight. I also need to be accountable. This TTC#7 looks like the way I can do it. In the morning I'll get a newspaper, take pictures and write down measurements. I've got to lose 25lbs, and I figure this will be a great start. Thanks for having this contest.
