I did workout B today because it truely didn't need any equipment and I wanted to start out in my room. The work out was as follows

Circuit
1) Bodyweight Squat – 8 repetitions
• No rest.
2) Kneeling or Regular Pushup – 1 less than the maximum number of reps you can do
I did 19 kneeling pushups.

• No rest.
3) Plank – 30 second hold
• No rest.
4) 1-Leg Hip Extension – 8 repetitions per side
• No rest.
5) Side Plank – 10 second hold per side
• No rest.
6) Wall Squat Hold – 45 seconds
• No rest.
7) Ab Curl Up – 10 repetitions
• No rest.
8) Bird Dog – 5 repetitions per side
• No rest.
9) Stick-up – 10 repetitions

As prescribed by Craig in the manual, I only did 1 circuit today to get a feel for where I'm at. The stick-up exercise is surprisingly effective. I could feel it right away. Interesting what you can do without a gym :-)

Off to do the interval portion out on the track now.
And just think...........There's a lot more where that came from!!!!!!!

Default Join me for a SNOOPY Dance!!!

Feeling so good, I did awesome today, if I do say so myself.

Little victories:
didn't eat that yummy looking bagel with cream cheese for breakfast
walked right on by those croissants... wow looked SOOOO good.
watched coworker eat hamburger, onion rings (with ketchup) and chicken fingers.. while I honestly enjoyed my grilled chicken salad... with fat free raspberry viniagrette dressing :-)
did my workout, even though I'd have rathered curled up and watched movies on my computer....
went running, even though i'd rather have curled up and watched movies on my computer EVEN after doing the bodyweight portion of my workout.

Did the interval workout as prescribed... accidently ran too long for the first interval... I'm downloading the stats from my forerunner now...

Good luck with your transformation! Looks like you are off to a great start, especially attitude-wise! : )

Congratulations! All those little victories count - if you can do them the first time, you'll be able to keep doing them. Craig's exercises are excellent. You may think 30 seconds doesn't sound like a lot of time but you can feel every second while you're doing the exercise Well done. You're only going to get stronger and lighter from here on in

Glad I could be of help GillianM :-)
I guess i'm so far gone, i've got no shame... might as well throw it all out there and embarrass myself into getting going.

I plan to do daily photos of myself and let myself get to watch the transformation in a slide show at the end of the 12 weeks and beyond... seems like a fun way to watch my progress unfold... it was an idea borrowed from Robyn's thread in the TTTC9 posts :-) thanks Robyn.

I don't have a swim suit here so the pics are of me in full coverage undergarments, but probably won't be shared publicly because of that ;-)

Best of Luck... LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!

Default No More Chai Lattes

Was super hungry this morning, didn't have enough time to combat the breakfast lines before meeting up to drive to work... stopped by the coffee shop who got my order wrong and gave me a vanilla chai rather than spiced... only a matter of about 40 calories, but still... either way, I will be sure to have some extra fruit and tuna cups in my room for such occasions... will take the hit, adjust the rest of the calories for the day and "just keep swimming, just keep swimming" -Dory

Default Fighting the Urge

I'm all amped up, want to do more, want to go out and run and lift and frollick :-P

Feels like for a 12 week challenge, I'm not doing enough, feels like I should be doing the 4 hour daily gym workout and living on celery, water and chicken breast....

hmmm....
