Smile BW Bodybuilding Addiction Challenge

First complete attempt, a tough one Craig!

Chinups 34
Squats 100
Close grip pushup. 60
Burpee pullup combo 13
Lunges 75
Stability Ball Jacknife. 60
Stability ball leg curl 55
Bodyweight Rows 73
Pushups 70

A total of 540

When I was doing HC2K10 I noticed that I hated the burpee/pullup combo I proved that argument today

I pretend to get closer to 600 next week, need to take less time to rest

Julio

Default bodyweight bodybuilding addiction challenge

ok, my first time posting. I did the challenge last friday-very hard! I had to make some improvisions, let me know what I need to do differently to really make it count.
*chinups(had to do inverted bodyweight underhand rows)-50 reps
*squats-224 reps
*close-grip pushups(on knees)-67 reps
*burpee-pushup combo(no pullups)-30 reps
*elevated rev. lunges- 49 reps(both legs=1rep)
*stab. ball jackknife-50 reps(my arms were killing me!)
*stab. ball leg curls-47 reps
*bodyweight rows-50 reps
*pushups-60 reps
HARD AS CRAP!! BUT AWESOME! please let me know what changes I need to make.

Great work! All you can do is work on building your pullup strength.

Would you say the inverted underhand row would be the next best exercise to a true pullup? Or would an assisted pullup machine be better? Of course its easy to keep moving the pin to more weight to assist you. I would think with the inverted row, its your bodyweight you lift, just like pullups-no cheating!

An assisted pullup would be better...its a tougher move...you could also do negative pullups. Get a step up to the top position and lower yourself for 3 seconds with control
