Default change your mind, change your world

OK, I am in. So many old buds are in this one, I had to join!

Starting date is today, Sept 17.

Have been extremely busy lately, so have been doing the September TT workout (super 6s). Not sure how I feel about it yet after the first week.

Took pics today and weighed in at 186.2 lbs. Actually not in that bad shape.

My main goal in this contest is to give up desserts for 30 days and go from there. I have a couple of parties to go to this week, so I will begin that on Monday, Sept. 26.

Hope to post frequently beginning that date as well.

Good luck, all

Kerry

Man, I could hardly find this thread - it's been that long since I've posted.

Just finished three weeks into the contest and doing real well - Rob B has inspired me to give up sugar and I'm 13 days into that. Makes a HUGE difference, at least for me anyway.
Weight is down two pounds to 184.5.

Workouts are going well as usual, cause these programs are so well put together. Currently doing the workout of the month - Metabolic Finishers - just finished week 1 of it. Thumbs up on this one - those finishers are tough.

Trying to catch up on a bunch of threads today.

Hi Kerry, Congrats on the 13 days without sugar! I looked into using the Metabolic Finishers workout next, but decided on Hard Core Fat Loss. Will keep in mind, though! Come back and post more, OK?

Hey Abby:

Trying to remember HCFL - me thinks I did it a couple of years ago. I'll check my notes but I'm sure it's a great program. Good luck with it. Thanks for the comment on the sugar. I'm traveling today and went to this fancy supermarket to get some good nutrition, but to get to the healthy stuff I had to walk through a gazillion Halloween candies and all sorts of unbelievable looking pastries. I got away clean though!!!

Hi Kerry, that Rob sure knows how to inspire us huh. Great news on the sugar front. I have actually been dipping into a few sweets things lately. Watched the grandkids this weekend and we had 2 cookies with ice cream sandwiched in the middle, for dessert, the rascals talked me in to it.LOL.....My
granddaughter said to me , "you can have anything you want Grandma, you have to have something different sometimes, besides you are skinny"...Out of the mouths of babes.....not sure if I liked being called skinny...
Good to hear all is well with you Kerry, I am looking for a new workout to start, may do BDHC, that was one of my faves.....
Cheers
Ma

Hi Kerry! Sounds like you're off to a really good start! This is my first T.T. contest. So it's good to have some great examples to follow! Good job for being sugar free for 13 days now. That's awesome! I am also doing the metabolic finishers. I LOVE it! Every time it kicks my butt! Take care!
