![]() Today was an off day. I twiddled my thumbs for most of the day to pass time. I eventually left work at 12pm and got some last minute shopping in.
I took my wife out for dinner as her birthday is on Christmas day. I finally got the kids off to bed and had some free time from 9pm onwards. For the rest of the evening good ol Santa wrapped everyone's presents.

![]() I got to bed around 2pm the night before...at 5am my daughter was awake wanting to know if Santa had come.
I managed to put her back to bed and finally get out of bed at 7:30am to open presents. We spent the morning opening presents and watching the kids enjoy their gifts. I got stuck into my workout shortly after 10am to get it out the way and finished off with a 4 minute metabolic miracle. Workout # 3: The 4-Minute Total Body Miracle 1A 1-Minute Burpee 1B 1-Minute Close-Grip Pushup (max reps) 1C 1-Minute Punisher Prisoner Squat 1D 1-Minute X-Body Mountain Climbers (max reps) These workouts are kicking my butt in the Summer heat.

![]() What a day today has been...my wife wanted to go buy a new oven as our one needs to be replaced. This threw a spanner in the works for me as I had a fair bit planned I wanted to do today.
We finally got back home around 11:30am...Made the kids something to eat and unpacked the groceries. I finally got stuck into my workout around 1:30pm...I finished off with a 4 minute metabolic miracle. Workout # 4: 4-Minute Abs 1A 1-Minute X-body Mountain Climbers (max reps) 1B 1-Minute Bodysaw/Rocking Plank (max reps) 1C 1-Minute Inchworm (max reps) 1D 1-Minute Burpee + Mountain Climber (max reps)

![]() Today is my off day...I had to go for an eye test as I feel my eyes have been getting worse been a draftsmans.
Apparently I still have 20/20 vision...I could still read all the letters. The smaller ones were a bit of a battle but I could still read them. It's my short sighted vision that needs some help, they have prescribed a stronger strength, but not by much. Its really to help relieve my eyes because I look at a computer screen all day. I have also been suffering with dry eyes later...extremely painful when I try open my eyes in the morning upon waking. I got some good eye drops for that now. I am feeling really pumped about this transformation I have planned for myself over the next few months. I am loving the workout with the kettlebells...its tough but enjoyable.

![]() Saturday...up at the crack of dawn. I had a heap of washing to do.
I forgot to mention that I had to buy myself a whole new wardrobe of clothing as nothing fitted me anymore. My pants were falling off me and uncomfortable to wear. A lot of my clothing looked like I was swimming in it. For placing in the top 3 in the under 40s 18th transformation contest I spent large on casual and work clothing. I have never been a guy for slim fit clothing but am really enjoying the fitting look of them on my frame body. I decided to spoil my son too...I kitted him out with a whole new range of summer clothing. The little guy deserved it. I am really looking forward to tomorrows workout...its gonna be about 42*C here tomorrow. I will try get my workout in at around 9am to try beat the heat.
