I was in physical pain and regret how much I ate. But I still lost two pounds this past week, which was my goal. Down to 180, with 6 weeks to go to get to my goal (170-175), which I believe is totally do-able.

I'm shaving my arms on Thursday. That's my ritual for getting down to 180. I think the last time I was at 180 was when I had nearly a 6-pack worth of abs (I was much stronger and more muscular than I am now... I benched 250 six times easily and squatted double that). Can't wait to get down to 175 and shave the stomach again! I hope everyone else is enjoying this journey as much as I am!
I've eaten at the Maggiano's in Denver and I'm in awe that you got out of there with only 4000 cal! Pretty impressive I'd say! I do agree about the fasting, it really does help me get back in the right frame of mind, especially when cravings are getting crazy. Looking forward to hearing about shaved stomach!

Default Amazing results Josh

Well done Josh

I'm stunned and I can see you getting in the final. Its amazing what you've achieved. I've seen a couple of guys, you and Gerry make an amazing transformation. Youre looking lean and I'm jealous of the strength gains youve made because I've been compromised by injury!!!! And you keep the calorie deficit as well.

If you dont place I'll be stunned!!! And even if you dont, you can be proud of your results. Well done again.

Neil

Thanks! I really appreciate the kind words... I'm not super comfortable with compliments because I'm hypercritical, myself, but thank you very much! Very kind!

I spent the weekend at a marriage retreat in Gatlinburg. I promised my wife that I wouldn't stress over eating this weekend. I didn't, but as Keli pointed out (we're on the way home, now), I didn't have to change a lot. I still didn't eat before 2 PM, she and I ran 4 miles on Saturday for our "activity" together, and even the eating was much less damaging than what I would normally take in! I attribute that success to simply being used to eating less thanks to IF!

Ready for the Muscle Massacre starting this week! Also, I'm zeroing in for the final six weeks- Keli is totally committed to encouraging me to "eat my way".

Default Congratulations!

You've had some impressive results, and I think you're looking really great !
I'm also getting more and more exited about fasting, it just makes everything so much easier!
Good luck with the rest of the contest as well

A small one that my church arranged. It was more of a retreat, I guess, especially for Keli and I- twins are time consuming!

Congratulations Josh, you did an amazing job, don't know how you stayed focused with all that was going on in your life. House building etc....But, that's what it takes, hard work, dedication, and good solid nutrition, looks like you
had it all.....

Cheers
Ma
