WEDNESDAY: Off day (so far)
July 11.

Didnt want to cram time into intervals this morning. Maybe this afternoon, when I get back as I am hoping to be out by noon, grab a bite and then the 2+hr return trip..............

THURSDAY: Week 4 / Day 3 TT FL Jan 2007 - Interval Workout A.
July 12.

Ended up not doing anything yesterday except for driving to Des Moines and back.

Walked to gym this morning.

INTERVAL WORKOUT A.

STATIONARY BIKE

5 minute warmup - Level 16
(14) Intervals - HARD- Level 25-Maximum resistance (15 sec @ 9/10) & EASY 45 sec @ 3/10 (Level16)-did last interval for 30 sec's.
Cooldown L 16 to 30 minutes.

TOTAL 6.75 miles / 30 min's / 310 cal's.

Now to see how tomorrow goes. The other day, while doing DB Rows, I pulled a muscle in my back. A stupid mistake. Supposed to be 2 sets of 8 & 1set of 12 reps. On the last set of 12, I got crappy with my form and paid for it. So it is time to remind myself to be more conscious of the form, rather than the weight itself........lesson re-learned.

sorry to hear that Rob. I hate when that happens...as it's happened to me at times too. sometimes the ego takes over and it may not be the smartest of things to the body sometimes. I agree, lesson re-learned. Just glad to have come across this post to kind of remind myself that too. i'm not getting any younger...
hope you feel better rob.

Hi Rob,

Sorry about the injury, that sucks. An injury derailed my first contest try. Hope you recover quickly.

I'm ok, once I am up and moving, today. I walked into town and that felt good and I did more intervals than usual.........just have to think and do things a little smarter!

Yes, it seems like the littles "tweak" in form can mess you up pretty bad. I've tweaked my back a couple of times not really knowing how.

I just try to go slow and use good form the best I can.

You DON'T do a push up every time? Is that why I almost puked? Can't say I miss seeing them. Have a good time in Vegas. Concetta
