![]() Wow...
I'm the first to post a thread in TC13. But I've not been in a good place recently, or more like my head has been totally all over the place. TC10 seems like it never happened. My head has been so far up my ass for a long while; I've just not been able to focus or complete anything for ages and I've talked a pile of crap for the same period of time! How dumb was that? The good news is... I can't submit an entry as I'm a previous prize winner. That really takes the pressure OFF. So my life doesn't have to be a contest. But that doesnt mean I wont do well. I can lighten the load. Recently I've been feeling very depressed and it hasnt helped that I've suffered my first bout in while of severe cold/flu symptoms as well. I havent trained until today for 2 weeks. I didnt do much but it was enough. 5 Minutes of squats at 80kg and a 1 mile run on the treadmill. And I was knackered! My mind is out of shape and so is my body... both of those will have changed by the end of this contest. I'm going to weigh in, measure up and post some photos tomorrow. First off I'm doing TT Hardcore 2K10. Its one I've enjoyed and will enjoy again. My goals for this contest. Well right now I havent thought of any. But I would like to be able to encourage those who have decided to go through their own transformation, and to lead and help others. Good luck to those who participate

![]() Well here we go... the hard bit... the photos. Not bad, a bit of belly flab and water retention but that can be worked on.
Measurements. Height 5'9" Weight 161.4lb (73.27kg) Shoulders 48" Chest 40.5" Waist 30 7/8" Did workout A of TT harcore 2K10 - so unfit!!! 3 rounds of the first circuit 28kgs for the DB presses and 24kgs for reverse lunges, hit all reps, and 2 circuits of the second one (36kg for the rows 12 & 9 reps) which was way too high after the pullups (7,5) and dips (2X10). did a descending pyramid from 8 of 1 arm kb snatches, burpees and bw squats as a finisher. Knackered! Merry Xmas to you all

![]() Nothing much to post, but I am starting to feel a bit more like my old self, and in some ways, looking forward to losing some flab from next monday. I'm probably going to diet for fat loss over January and review where I am at the start of Feb.
Did workout C from TT Hardcore 2K10 yesterday, with the deadlifts at bar + 90kg for all 3 setts of 8 which is the best I've done for a while. Found the turkish get ups in circuit 1 very difficult with both shoulders feeling it. My finisher totally got me. KB swings (24kg) for 30s followed immediately by running in place for 30s then 30s rest. Nasty! Last few days of the festive season coming up now and I'll be glad its over! Weigh and measure tomorrow morning! It will be good to assess the damage. Have a good new years celebration all of you.

Measurements: Weight 162.6lb acceptable given that its been the festive season. Waist 31 3/8" hmm not so acceptable. goals for next week: get the 3 workouts in. eat slow carb. a couple of eat stop eat fasts drink 3 litres of water per day. Moving cheat days back to fridays and hoping the outcome of the first week will be to get the waist back below 31" Enjoy the New Year Celebrations everyone.
